Children's Ministry
The Awakening community places a high value on the presence of children during its gatherings. In the same way that our Lord Jesus did, we love to let the little ones come. During the musical portion of our worship service, children of all ages are invited to encounter the Lord with their families and each other. Do not be surprised to see precious toddlers waddling around the worship area or children laughing and playing amongst themselves. We wouldn't want it any other way! They have much to teach us all about bringing the Kingdom of Heaven here on Earth (Matthew 18:2-4).
After the musical portion of the service ends, children are released to one of the following:
Toddler Church
This ministry is for toddlers who are walking - 3 years old.
Every Sunday morning, trained Awakening volunteers will lovingly engage with your child for the second half the service in a safe and enclosed area. You will be able to pick your child up from this area at the end of the service.
Kids Church
This ministry is for children ages 3 - Kindergarten.
Every Sunday morning, trained Awakening volunteers will lovingly walk through age appropriate lessons from the Bible with your child for the second half the service. Arts and crafts, journaling, asking God questions, and Bible reading are constants in this area of ministry.
*All children who are entering into 1st grade and above will remain in the service with their families for the worship and teaching.
